Warriors of Freedom is a non-warring guild with a vast diversity of characters and playstyles.  Our guild character base includes those who are just starting out to those who are long-time veterans.  We are very fortunate, in that we have a great group of very loyal members as guildmates.
 
Choosing the right guild can be difficult and is a decision that should not be taken lightly.  Your guild can either enhance your game play experiences or make you want to quit.  After all, what make a guild special? . . . It's you the members!  But remember . . . it's a two way street.  I believe that "Quid Pro Quo" is the correct statement.  Please take a moment to read A Letter From Beowolf.  You'll be glad you did.

Warriors of Freedom Active Guild Roster

Warriors of Freedom is a guild that believes in helping each other.  If you are interested in joining us, there are a few simple rules and requirements.
  • First . . . review the Guild Charter and By-Laws.  As a member of Warriors of Freedom, you will be responsible to abide by them.  There is a link in the Navigation Bar of this website for your convenience.

  • Second . . . complete and submit the Guild Membership Application.  There is a link in the Navigation Bar of this website for your convenience.

  • Third . . . ICQ is a very effective means of communication.  It is the standard of instant communication for Ultima Online players.  The download and registration of ICQ is free and you will be required to share your number with your fellow guildmates.  This has a two-fold purpose.  First, it lets your fellow guildmates see when you are on-line.  And second, it gives you the ability to see when your fellow guildmates are on-line in the event you or they need assistance.

  • Fourth . . . finding your way around Sosaria can be very trying at times, even for the experienced player.  One of the tools our guild finds very useful is UO Auto-Map.  This is the best navigation program available for Ultima Online, in my opinion.
  • Warriors of Freedom maintains a private UO Auto-Map server for our members that you will be allowed access to upon entry to our guild.  The benefits to using UO Auto-Map and linking to our private server will be realized very early on.
  • The download and installation of UO Auto-Map is free.  However, if you wish to make a voluntary contribution to the developer of this great software, I'm sure they will appreciate it.  UO Auto-Map is a UO-Pro Application.

  • Fifth . . . another tool that several members of our guild find very useful is UO-Assist.  The benefits of using UO-Assist are too numerous to list here.  And although the download and installation is free, activation costs about $14.95 US . . . but well worth it in my opinion.  UO-Assist is also a UO-Pro Application.
  • When UO-Assist is used together with UO Auto-Map, some really nice features are unlocked.  However, if you are unable to register UO-Assist right away,  no worries.  Simply download and install UO-Assist.  Then run UO-Assist and then UO Auto-Map.  When you are linked to our private server - voila - all the sweet special features become available to you.  But as I said before . . . the benefits of UO-Assist are well worth the small registration fee.

  • Sixth . . . another tool that many members of our guild find very useful is Ventrilo or TeamSpeak2.  Ventrilo and TeamSpeak2 are real-time internet voice communication programs that comes in quite handy at times.
  • The download and installation of Ventrilo or TeamSpeak2 is free.  However, Ventrilo and TeamSpeak2 do require that you have a microphone attached and configured to your computer.  Warriors of Freedom also maintains a private server for our guild members that you will be allowed access to upon membership.
  • Our current preference is Ventrilo, although if enough parties are interested TeamSpeak2 could also be enabled.

  • Seventh . . . if this still sounds good?  Complete and submit the Guild Membership Application, a link is located in the main navigation bar.  After we've received your completed application, we will arrange an in-game meeting with some of our senior members.  Please be sure to include your ICQ #, if you have it, to facilitate this meeting.
  • At this time, you will be given a book of our Guild Charter and By-Laws and will be asked to read it.  You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have that pertain to Warriors of Freedom.
  • Of course, this will also be our opportunity to ask a few questions of you.

  • Eighth . . . at this point, if all parties are in agreement, we will proceed to the Warriors of Freedom guildstone where you will be added as a member of our guild and family.  As always, if you should have any questions, all you need to do is ask.
